Michelle Kusanovich has been a licensed Architect, practicing in the state of California for the last 16 years and working in the field of architecture, design and construction for 20 years. She has an excellent feel for spatial qualities that enhance the daily lives of her clients. Blending experiential moments with a keen sense for material palettes, Michelle creates art out of architecture. Her team of engineers and preferred contractors work kindly and respectfully together to make the process of creating your new home a positive experience.
Michelle is involved from the initial design stages of your project, to creating construction documents, achieving a construction permit, creating material palettes for the interior and exterior of the building, choosing fixtures, creating clear product schedules for the contractors, making site-visits to assure plans are built to specifications, participates in construction administration and maintains both a good working relationship as well as friendships with her clients.
Michelle is a member of the AIA American Institute of Architects, the US Green Building Council, IFMA International Facilities Management Association, Art Docents of Los Gatos and the Facilities Advisory Task Force for the Los Gatos Union School District. Michelle has an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Master of Architecture degree from SCI-Arc Southern California Institute of Architecture.
Michelle loves the company of her husband and daughter, all whom create art, music, and fun times together. In personal moments, Michelle may be found welding, wood-working or ballroom dancing...or attending ground-breaking lectures on water reclamation and sustainability.
